I had a look around at other posts and think I saw answers for a couple questions I have on the tea bag art. I just started randomly slapping them down on the watercolor card and the first piece is a hodge podge. I left some a little wetter so they would 'run' a bit and I used bags that brew a quart of tea so the are larger. I was wondering if those conical would work or if herbal teas would make different colors of prints. I saw your post on the conical. I will try the herbal and see. I have been having problems trying to keep up with house, garden, crafty stuff, etc and have been a little scarce there my self. Love this post! How true it is that we are hardest on ourselves and the worse about comparing ourselves to the world at large. I doubt we could all be the same with all the same influences even. My husband retired 14 years ago from his job of 33 years with the NOAA (weather research) and went to the university. Chuck will be 69 this year and I think he is wanting to retire next year for good. Most of his work is being done from home so it is a lot like having to trip about a 3 year old getting things done! Have a great vacation! I believe with a passion that we can all create and very often it is that comparison with others that stops people trying. It is a shame as we all know what a wonderful feeling it is to create, imagine and explore and the kind people you are sure to meet along the way.

I hope this comment works and I look forward to seeing your steampunk adornments to your wheels!

Have a wonderful rest Shoshi - the weather person is promising improving weather this week.

Hugs
Helen
xAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03152566976323014527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6708807491363992142.post-22352830344934653662014-06-09T12:19:10.530+01:002014-06-09T12:19:10.530+01:00Hi Shoshi,

I've been unable to settle at much because of feeling discomfort and worry, and my little grey cloud has been hovering overhead for while. It's been lovely reading your uplifting article - it's easy to compare ourselves with others and sometimes we need a reminder that we are all individuals. I always love your beautiful work and have just been admiring your altered pizza box - you've done a fabulous job on it and it shouts of your distinctive style. Good luck to your hubby in his retirement - it took me about three months to acclimatize to my husband being home all the time, we had a few ups and downs but I love having him home 24/7 as they say!
Thanks for the wise and positive words - you don't know just how much they are appreciated!Diana Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02475927836717719695noreply@blogger.com
