Those felted flowers are looking great!...Hi Shoshi,
Those felted flowers are looking great! You could do so many things with them :) Glad you are enjoying the class. The felting that I did (ages ago) was very satisfying. I'll try and put some pics on my blog, if you would like to see?
Thanks for checking out my faux rust. It's my first attempt and I think it turned out ok. I just used two coats of gesso, two coats of Burnt Umber acrylic (should have been Raw Umber but I didn't have any), and then a couple of coats (in a sort of random fashion) of Red Oxide acrylic. Oh, but the secret ingredient was some sand mixed in with the gesso! It was supposed to be (bought) "Texture Sand" but I'm nowhere near an art shop and anyway, there's some sand in the back garden. Not to mention, I have Scottish heritage - I'm not about to buy sand:)! It was very easy :)
Have a good weekend :)RosAhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15299065039358571096noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6708807491363992142.post-61247613998982655002014-10-10T08:33:48.091+01:002014-10-10T08:33:48.091+01:00Love love love those flowers.
