WOYWW 457

I’ve been working flat out on my mystery project this week because I’m determined to get it finished before I go into hospital at the end of the month.

There’s still a great deal to do but I’m making good progress!

This is what was on my desk on Tuesday evening before I started my evening session.

I’m afraid I can’t tell you what it is…

This is the rubbish left over.

Remember the purple pieces I showed you last week? This is what they are like now they are finished.

It’s been a really busy week with other activities as well and I’ve got pretty tired as a result. The extremely cold weather didn’t do me any favours either but the snow was so beautiful! A lot more snow than the little dusting I showed you last week.

The steps at the back, leading up to the garden, disappeared completely and more resembled a ski slope. This picture was taken in the early evening so it’s a bit dark.

I haven’t had time to do any more kitty video editing and didn’t even take any photos of them this week. They are continuing to behave like naughty adolescents but at least they haven’t broken anything!

  1. Hi Shoshi, those purple pages get better every time I see them. Good luck with getting your mystery project finished before you go in for your op. I'm not sorry to see the back of the snow! Happy WOYWW. Sarah #10

  2. Morning Shoshi. You certainly had more snow than we did here - about an inch! But you seem to have had a load of fun with your mystery project whilst you couldn't get out!
    Take care. God bless.

  3. Love the referral to the kitties as 'naughty adolescents' - so apt I imagine.
Yes, the snow put paid to my getting out and about but when I did venture out (necessary) I found it not as bad in other places as where I live.
Good luck with the project.Hugs, Neet 6 xx

  4. Happy WOYWW. I seem to have missed reading blogs last week, although I did a WOYWW post myself. Must have been something to do with the weather. I survived the cold by wearing lots of layers, including thermals, getting the fire lit and eating more! I went back and read your post, to see that you have the date for your operation. I hope that it does go ahead as scheduled. We are all really curious to see your mystery project! Ali x #23

  5. Hi Shoshi, good to hear you have a date at last! Will be good to get it done and sorted. The snow was a real nuisance last week, but your garden looks beautiful under it all. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 XxX

  10. Well....if your secret project required you to eat that much Flora, it’s coming along nicely!!! I like the purple finished, looks metallic and very textured. Clever you.

  11. Hi Shoshi, just catching up following my absence. All that snow is now gone, I'm sure. It's positively balmy around here now. I'm really intrigued about your mystery project and hope to find out more about it later. I'm having problems right now with my comments disappearing, so don't waste your time and effort (hope you haven't already) - it is extremely frustrating and totally Google's fault. I just hope I'll get my comments back later - as this has happened before. Wishing you a lovely weekend! xx

  12. Yay, my comments are back! That video of Beatrice is hilarious and such a great production - like an old silent movie! It's so nice to have these videos of our pets to remind us of them when they're gone. A lady at work has just lost her 10-year-old cat to cancer and when she told me how much she misses him and that she keeps his ashes in a box to keep her company, I started crying - how silly am I? She had to comfort me, instead the other way around, even though it was her cat! I really do hope that all our kitties will be around for a long-long time!
