Last week Judy sent me another gorgeous parcel all the way from Australia – I was selected for the package of paper stuff on her recent blog give-away.
I was amazed when I opened it, just how many die-cuts were in there! Lots of different shapes and sizes and colours – some fancy and some plain, some embossed, etc. Many are cut from double-sided paper so I can choose which to use.
Actually, I think this picture looks so nice that I might print it and use it as a background! I could spread them out more and take some more, and maybe photo-edit them to make them one colour for different projects? Ideas, ideas!
In the packet as well, was a stunning card topper in pink and green which she had made up.
This is all very timely, because I’ve got to get going on making the cards for next year’s family birthdays etc. My stash is virtually empty. Also, last year I made my mum a box of cards for her to send to family and friends for their birthdays. She is now so elderly, and trying to downsize stuff, so it’s often hard to think of presents for her, but this went down so well that I’ve decided to do it again this year. So Judy’s gorgeous bits will come in very handy indeed! Thank you Judy!
While we are on the subject of die-cuts, ages ago, Julia, our wonderful WOYWW hostess, sent me a load of bicycle die-cuts, after I’d so admired the one on the ATC she sent me in the WOYWW anniversary ATC swap – yes, I know, I still haven’t posted about that, and I will do, I promise! Here are all her little bicycles – enough for the Tour de France? (Actually, this photo looks more like a pile-up…)
I still haven’t used any, but with my card factory looming, they are sure to come in handy. Thanks, Julia!
wow lucky you, I love that card topper..what the heck is a card topper lol?
ReplyDeleteWow! What a treasure! haha, how creative of you to think of using that photograph as a background! You should - it's a great idea!
